Wreaths Across America 2023

Wreaths Across America happens every year in December, before Christmas. This event happens across the country at over 4,000 locations. Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization that brings communities together to remember our fallen heroes, honor their sacrifices, and teach future generations about the cost of freedom.

WAA originally started in 1992 when Morrill Worcester, owner of Worchester Wreath Company, noticed empty space on veterans’ graves at Arlington National Cemetery. He decided to fill that space with wreaths, a simple act of remembrance that blossomed into a nationwide movement. Wreaths Across America was officially founded as a charity in 2007.

This year, Tri-National staff members and their family members volunteered at St. Charles Memorial Gardens near our corporate headquarters to place wreaths on the graves of veterans. It was a very surreal experience, having veterans of our own working at Tri-National. Additionally, TNi was a part of the Wreaths Across America Honor Fleet, delivering wreaths to cemeteries across Texas.

Overall, we are very pleased to be able to support our veterans. TNi even made “Red Friday” shirts to help support the cost of wreaths to donate. For each shirt bought by an employee or driver, Tri-National matched the donation with all proceeds going to WAA. In total TNi raised over $2500 for Wreaths Across America and delivered wreaths to a dozen Texas cemeteries.
