Tri-National Celebrates National Truck Drivers Appreciation Week

Day in and day out, truck drivers deliver many of the staples and commodity items we come to expect in our modern society. More than 80% of communities in the U.S. depend on the trucking industry for delivery of their goods and commodities. Everything in your home or office - from clothing and appliances, to food and furniture: a truck driver was responsible for transporting it.

Today, there are over 3.5 million truck drivers in the United States. The US trucking industry employs over 7.8 million people, or one out of every 16 people who work in the United States. The total market size of the US trucking industry exceeds 212 billion dollars. Trucking is vital to our national and global economy: when trucks stop moving, the country stops moving as well. Performing a job that is as demanding as it is vital, truck drivers deserve our respect and gratitude every day.

National Truck Drivers Appreciation Week is a time for Americans to thank the nation’s professional truck drivers who leave their homes and families to bring the essentials to you and yours. Every year during the second week of September, trucking companies, fueling stations, and other organizations recognize and celebrate the drivers that keep their operation moving. This year’s National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is September 11-17, 2022.

Tri-National always strives for safety, service & satisfaction for their drivers, so it is no surprise that TeamTNi makes an extra effort to say thank you to their hard-working Class A CDL drivers. Monday through Friday September 12-16, Tri-National terminals will provide all its drivers a nice meal as well as a company gift. TeamTNi corporate staff will be onsite to talk with our drivers and to thank them for all that they do. In addition, all current TNi drivers will be entered into a raffle to win prizes like TVs, coolers, and gift cards all week.

Tri-National corporate employees put together a short video to thank TNi drivers for all of their hard work and dedication to the job. Check it out below:
