TNi Once Again Named as a WIT Top Company
We’ve been named ONCE AGAIN as Top Company for Women to Work in Transportation by Redefining the Road, the official magazine of the Women in Trucking Association (WIT). Highlighted for our capabilities of fostering an environment with diversity, benefits, flexible work hours and professional development opportunities for women, TNi proudly announces our achievement from an industry-respected organization aimed at supporting women in the workplace.
The Redefining the Road publication reaches more than 15K individuals, including members of Women in Trucking organization, key stakeholders, and social media followers. Women in Trucking has been focused on a clear mission since 2007: to champion the employment and advancement of women in trucking.
Tri-National, Inc. earned recognition for this award last year and asked some of our TNi ladies about their experience in a traditionally male-dominate profession. TNi represents a company who accommodates a positive work-life balance, aiming to create flexibility for those moments where all you can really say is: “Hey, life happens.”
No matter the circumstance, Team TNI makes an effort in supporting women in the workplace.
Approximately 35% of our employees identify as female and hold various titles across several departments. From Directors to Drivers, our ladies have opportunities for training and career growth readily available. Servicing as a cross-border expert moving freight out of Mexico throughout the Midwest and into Canada, our transportation services remain top tier in the industry.
The nomination from this award came from an industry-wide voting experience with more than 21,000 professionals in the transportation industry. This is TNi’s 8th consecutive year being named by the WIT organization as we continue to hold true to our values of safety, service and satisfaction.
